Enemy Territory

2 Corinthians 4:3: But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

John 8:44: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Satan is everyone*s enemy. He would like to kill unbelievers before they receive Jesus and he would like to kill believers before they can spread the gospel. Whether you are a believer or an unbeliever you are in enemy territory. Satan has snares, temptations and false spiritual teachers virtually everywhere. We are all in desperate need of God*s protection and guidance. The safety in enemy territory is found first when we receive Jesus into our hearts and lives. He will keep us safe when we receive Him, follow Him, study the Bible, put on the whole armor of God and pray for one another.

Ephesians 3:17a: That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; . . .

1 John 4:4: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Psalms 119:105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

John 10:27: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Psalms 23:3-4: He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name*s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Ephesians 6:10-18: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
